Yoganomics - What is it?
The study of practicing yoga and meditation in its totality.
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another ADHD-fueled rant by yours truly, Yoganomics.
On the bright side of my most recent and probably most established dopamine fixation, meditation and yoga have guided me to sharing the benefits of these practices with the world. I have started a podcast, and I have been building a community on reddit which is probably how you got here.
So yoganomics. Yoga I’m sure you’re all aware of, at least the pants, and the nomics part means we’re going to study the practice in its totality. Think Economy = Economics. Yoga = Yoganomics. We’re talking BALANCE, equilibrium, resources, sustainability, environmental IMPACT. You can sign up for free at your local community college starting 2035.
If you feel like you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, physical pain, I can go on and on. Start meditation and yoga. Or don’t, I can’t force you. But I promise you that it will change your life. Meditation, by default, is the practice of clearing your mind. All you know is fine dining, and breathing. Imagine going an entire day where you don’t think about anything at all, because you are so focused on what is right in front of you. You might say, that’s impossible! Don’t think? What am I, a stupid mouth-breather? I think ahead! I'm aware of my surroundings, nothing gets by me, I will catch it!
I used to think I knew everything, until I was desperate enough to try something different.
