Time to Split, literally.
The "beast" is coming. Blessed be the broken.

Movies have always been an escape for me, I realize that now. The movies I enjoyed most had an impact on me with either an environmental or emotional message, but the star can’t ever be too handsome because then it takes me out. Everything from the actors’ ability to become someone else, the beautiful score that invokes the emotion, and I think most importantly, the scenery. Movies have shown me places in the universe that I never could have imagined as a child, and the older I got the more depressing my universe became.
Movies like Avatar especially, Soul specifically. Good Will Hunting, Blood Diamond, MaXXXine, A Wild Robot, The Prestige, Puss n’ Boots: Last Wish - Is the wolf following you right now?
The cinema has always been there as an outlet for me to live out my wildest dreams, and as I sit here today writing to you, Singing in the Rain finally makes sense to me. It is time for a change.
Is it that crazy though? Am I egotistical to believe deep down that I was born with one shot at life to be something more than an accountant for some local corporation? Doomed to living life for weekends and what limited vacation time I have?
How were our parents simply okay with this? I will gladly work a job that I am fairly compensated for, my work/life balance is suitable for my mental health, and holy shit don’t make me stay at the office if my work is completed. I am not going to pretend to be busy until 5:07pm because it makes the boss feel better to see others stay after he leaves. It is so incredibly pathetic and short-sighted to say the absolute bare minimum. This has never seemed unreasonable to me at all, and to be honest I can’t comprehend why ANYONE would disagree.
I am not lazy, and as a statement for myself when I am locked in I dare you to find someone who works harder. As I’m sure we’re all aware at this point, reality has proven to be much stranger than fiction. How is America’s movie going to end?
Are you watching closely?
